Homo Ludens is the beating heart of board gaming in Polignano, with its official headquarters at Casa Bachi. It is not just a group of players, but an open community that transforms the gaming table into a space for socializing, discussion, and fun. We believe in gaming as a social tool: our approach is casual and inclusive. You don't need to be an expert to sit at our tables—you just need the desire to get involved.
WHAT WE DO
Thursday Game Nights
Every Thursday we meet at Casa Bachi for our game nights. It is the community's fixed appointment, where we range from modern classics to titles for the most demanding players. We take care of every detail, from explaining the rules to choosing the titles, to make every participant feel like part of a big family.
The M.A.T.C.H.
In addition to our weekly appointments, we are among the founders and organizers of M.A.T.C.H., a major interprovincial marathon created to network different gaming communities from the southern Bari area. These are special events dedicated to strategy and board game "heavyweights": complex Eurogames, management games, and structured challenges that require hours of calm to be enjoyed down to the very last move.
